Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a huge transfer package for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, with a deal potentially rising towards £190m as Jose Mourinho’s rebuild gathers pace.
The France international has become one of Europe’s most watched attackers after an outstanding spell in Germany and an impressive start to the World Cup, where his link-up with Kylian Mbappe has strengthened his profile at the Bernabeu.
According to a fresh report from The Sun, Madrid are willing to go beyond £130m and could push their offer towards £190m in an attempt to test Bayern’s resolve.
Bayern stance makes Olise pursuit difficult
Bayern are not expected to welcome the approach. Olise has become central to their attack alongside Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, and club president Herbert Hainer has previously made clear that the German champions do not want to sell one of their leading players.
For Madrid, the interest fits the wider direction under Mourinho and Florentino Perez. The club have already been aggressive in the market, and Olise would represent the kind of elite, left-footed attacking option capable of reshaping the right side of the team.
The key question now is whether Bayern’s stance is absolute or whether a near-record bid forces a different conversation later in the window.
