Espanyol vs Real Madrid kicks off José Mourinho’s first LaLiga campaign of his second spell in charge, and it comes on Saturday 22 August at 21:30 CEST at the RCDE Stadium in Cornellà-El Prat. In Spain the match is being shown on Orange TV and DAZN, according to Bernabéu Digital.
It is the first competitive test of a squad rebuilt over the summer and of a manager who has spent more than a month reshaping the working week at Valdebebas. Los Blancos begin the season chasing Barcelona, who took both LaLiga and the Supercopa last term, and Mourinho goes into the weekend still weighing how his new arrivals fit into a first XI.
