Real Madrid President Reportedly Wants Juventus Wonderkid Yıldız

  • Reports in Italy claim that Real Madrid president Kenan Yıldız is interested in Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yıldız.
  • At the Bernanbeu, Yıldız would already have company in compatriot Arda Guler.
  • With competition from Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe, however, nailing down the left wing would be no cake walk.

Juventus forward Kenan Yıldız is “the boy of Real Madrid President Florentino Perez’s wishes”, according to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’.

The Turkey international has wracked up 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions for the Old Lady this term.

It is this kind of form that could have reportedly caught Perez’s eye, with La Gazzetta explaining that it’s no “secret” the Los Blancos leader admires him.

“The season will restart with a thirst for revenge for the title defeat in La Liga, and a European campaign that ended too soon in the quarter-finals,” the Italian paper adds, as justification for a clear out and regeneration at Valdebebas.

At present, Yıldız is rated at €75 million by Transfermarkt on a contract that runs until mid-2030. As we’ve seen before with Zinedine Zidane, however, a hefty price tag has never stopped Madrid getting their man from Juventus in the past.

One possible positive for Yıldız joining Real Madrid is that he’d already find familiar company there in compatriot Arda Guler. They’ve played 33 games for Turkey together in the senior and youth national teams. A healthy record of seven goals and five assists for Yıldız then nine goals and eight assists for Guler is a positive of potentially uniting them.

Bedding in at Real Madrid would be no easy feat for Yıldız

As is the case for any new signing, making his way into the first team wouldn’t be a cake walk for Yıldız. In his preferred left wing position he’d find Vinicius Jr. And, to some extent, Kylian Mbappe.

Just like Guler, however, he’s adept at operating in attacking midfield. He can also offer something on the right. In 2025/2026, that wing is a position that doesn’t really belong to anyone but will be contested by the likes of Rodrygo, Endrick and Franco Mastantuono next term.
