The Brazilian winger’s salary demands have created a standoff with the club’s wage structure: Vinicius is seeking annual compensation close to €30 million net — roughly equivalent to Kylian Mbappé’s package — plus a renewal bonus. Mourinho, who sees Vinicius as a cornerstone of his squad, has requested involvement in the upcoming talks.
