Real Madrid Have Three Of LaLiga’s Most Valuable Players

Real Madrid went a whole season without a trophy, watched Barcelona take the league, and spent the summer being told the squad needed rebuilding. Then somebody totted up what the players are actually worth. Three of LaLiga’s most valuable players wear white, and only one footballer in the entire competition is rated above Kylian Mbappé.

The ranking comes from Score 90 and was reported on Monday by Bernabéu Digital. It covers the 2026/27 season, and Los Blancos place three players in the top five — more than any other club in Spain, Barcelona included.

LaLiga’s Most Valuable Players: The Top Five In Full

  • 1. Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) — €220m
  • 2. Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) — €200m
  • 3. Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) — €160m
  • 4. Pedri (Barcelona) — €150m
  • 5. Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid) — €140m

Two clubs, five players. That is the shape of Spanish football in 2026, and it is worth pausing on how narrow the gap at the top has become: €20m separates the most valuable player in the league from the second, in a market where a full-back can cost €60m.

Mbappé And Bellingham Set The Price

Mbappé at €200m is the least surprising number on the list and still the most striking one. He is heading into another season as the reference point of Mourinho’s attack, and the valuation places him among the most valuable assets in world football, not merely Spanish football. Only Yamal — a player José Mourinho had some pointed things to say about earlier this month — is rated higher.

Bellingham at €160m is the more interesting entry, because it is a valuation of what he might yet be as much as what he has been. Score 90 have him third in the whole competition at 23, which is a considerable statement about a player entering his fourth season at the Bernabéu. It also lands in the same week that Florentino Pérez took personal charge of his contract renewal — and if the president needed a reminder of what the market thinks of the Englishman, here it is in nine figures.

What Vinícius Júnior’s €140m Really Says

Fifth place, behind Pedri, is the entry Madridistas will argue about. Vinícius has had a difficult few months in the public conversation — his form, his temperament and his contract have all been picked over, and his opening night at Espanyol was not one he will revisit fondly.

And yet €140m is not a downgrade in any meaningful sense. It is the market saying that a Ballon d’Or-level winger at 26 remains one of the five most expensive footballers in Spain even during a rough patch. Valuations like this are lagging indicators of noise and leading indicators of ability; Score 90 have clearly weighted the second.

The broader point is the one Real Madrid will enjoy most. A club that finished last season empty-handed still holds three of the five most valuable players in the division, and the two ahead of Bellingham and Vinícius are 19 and 23 respectively. This is not a squad that needs dismantling. It is a squad that needs a manager to get the best out of it — which, on Wednesday at the Bernabéu, is exactly the job Mourinho has been given.
